Artisan Ales Consulting Inc. reflects an on-going love affair with great beer. Founded in 2009, the business currently represents 28 of the top 50 beers brewed in Canada, and will be adding some great Belgian and French breweries in the Spring of 2012.

Founder Mike Tessier started his beer journey as an obessive homebrewer, winning more brewing medals than you can shake a stick at, including what many homebrewers consider the Holy Grail of American brewing medals, a Masters Championship of Amateur Brewing gold medal.  Subsequently, Mike branched out into beer writing. He’s been published in many of the world’s best beer magazines for the last decade and is a well-versed public speaker on all things beers. He and his business partner and wife, Bo Vitanov, have long planned their vacations around great beer and learning more about this dynamic beverage.

Artisan Ales’ goal is to deal only with breweries that share the same passion for great suds and to bring Western Canada more great brews, but we’re a little selfish as these are all beers we want to drink.
